The Passion before the Passion Pt.2
God’s agenda, since the foundation of the world, has been to bring salvation and restoration to those plagued by sin and it’s result, death. The message, or the Story, of the bible is ultimately God’s mission of redemption – his mission to bring life. The wonder of the missio dei (mission of God) is the fact that God chooses to fulfill it through the very broken people he is redeeming. We, the very recipients of the Gospel, have been sent/commissioned by God as the representatives of his Gospel.
