SET FREE: Paul's Letter to the Galatians Pt. 7
Pastor Heath shares from Galatains 4:8-5:6 and concludes with a Communion Reflection.
Christ came to set us free from man-made and cheap imitations of freedom. He did not come to bring us a new religion or a new moral code or a new political movement; he came to bring a new creation. So, may we increasingly see and experience Christianity not as something we religiously and legalistically take up and add to our life. Rather, may we see and experience the Christ who takes us up and makes all things new!
SET FREE: Paul's Letter to the Galatians Pt. 6
Pastor Heath shares from Galatains 3:23-4:7 and concludes with a Communion Reflection.
The Gospel of Jesus brings a sense of belonging that every human longs for. Though we universally suppress this truth, the restless human heart longs for right relationship and connectedness with God. This heartwarming acceptance and sense of belonging brings a freedom from those restless longings and is given through the gift of sonship to everyone who trusts in Christ. May we, in faith, confidently run to the Father who freely gives sonship to all who believe.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper at every Sunday morning Gathering. Communion is, and has been, central to Christian gatherings, worship, and practice. We come to the table to meet with Christ, remembering his sacrificial death which brings forgiveness and renewal. Though we do it weekly, it is not an empty ritual! Communion is a time of centering - remembering what makes us a Christian and the Gospel call to live relentlessly for the cause of Christ's kingdom!
Pastor Daryn Kinney, from Gulf Coast Community Church, joins us this Sunday and shares an encouraging and challenging message from the book of Jonah.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ can set the most broken life right. It doesn’t matter who you are - your age, your gender, your economic status, or your race. The Gospel is for everyone. And this Gospel-given righteousness makes human diversity a thing of beauty and strength, a venue through which to worship the King in true delight.
