As we continue with our studies on the first 11 chapters of Genesis, this Sunday, November 4th, we will be reflecting on the origins of relationships and human connectedness as Steve Lee teaches part 5 in our GENESIS: The Promise series entitled, "Love + Marriage"...

There was a place called Eden (Genesis 2). It was where God was. It was where everything was as it should be be. Full of peace. Full of everything right. It was the place humanity was created to live in. But after humanity rebelled and was cast out of Eden's paradise, the author of Genesis informs us of mankind's eastward movement away from Eden (Genesis 3:24; 4:16; 11:2) - away from where we were meant to be. In this message Pastor Heath looks at life "east of Eden."

Creation Undone

GENESIS: The Promise Pt. 3 There’s a human stain within each of us. A stain that mars all we are and all we do. A stain for which we have no remedy and it takes away everything that is dear to us. But there is a wonderful promise; promised by the most capable and gracious Being. The Gospel of Christ is the pronouncement of acceptance, hope, and healing; and it alone can remove the human stain of sin.

Spiritual Stuff

GENESIS: The Promise Pt. 2

God made the physical world and declared it is “good." May this radically shape the way we view the physical world and our involvements in every day kind of stuff - working, playing, singing, eating, walking, resting, talking, and smelling. Everything becomes worship; everything becomes spiritual.

Hello, My Name Is

GENESIS: The Promise Pt. 1

Genesis is a book of orgins and introductions. We learn of the one and only true God - the Maker of heaven and earth. And, in light of Him, we also discover who and what we are.

Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
